Welcome to the Weird Wonder that is the World of Willow Andreasson...
... on this afternoon's show:
The first hour will focus on the day's world news and geek headlines;
The second hour heralds the opening of the doors to the cosy nook that is Willow's Poetry Corner: the Poetry Corner continues its unnerving journey through a future Britain - a dystopian Britain scarred by anarchy, poverty and paranoia - in which all is not as it seems; The Professor, recovering from his injury in the company of strangers, faces the awful truth of the injustice meted out to the elderly community in tonight's haunting first instalment of the ninth chapter of Nigel Kneale's unsettling 1979 opus, 'Quatermass';
We then don our Wellington Boots, slip on a warm jacket and tiptoe across the cool lawns to Willow's Observatory: tonight, we train the telescope on our Moon, specifically its water movements. We also explore hidden black holes, check out some interesting finds on Jupiter and Saturn, and... are binary stars involved in a 'Dance of Death' of sorts...?
The comfy cushions are scattered liberally across the deep-pile hearth rugs... the sweet scent of sandalwood serenades the senses as the logs smoulder on the open fire... the teas and coffees are freshly brewing... and I welcome you into my humble yet peaceful abode.
