Welcome to the Weird Wonder that is the World of Willow Andreasson...
... on this afternoon's show:
The first hour will focus on the day's world news and geek headlines;
The second hour heralds the opening of the doors to the sultry snuggery that is Willow's Poetry Corner: the Poetry Corner continues its unnerving journey through a future Britain - a dystopian Britain scarred by anarchy, poverty and paranoia - in which all is not as it seems; En route to a devastated London with the terrified child survivor of the Ringstone Road event, Professor Quatermass and District Commissioner Annie Morgan find themselves in terrible danger, in tonight's first instalment of the eighth chapter of Nigel Kneale's unsettling 1979 opus, 'Quatermass';
The remainder of the show sees a trip to Willow's Earth Sciences Laboratory: the discovery of mountains 660km beneath Bolivia... the true extent of Earth's atmosphere... ionospheric anomalies prior to earthquakes... and a view of the Salar de Uyuni Salt Flats, are today's curious articles of a geologic, atmospheric and ionospheric nature;
The comfy cushions are scattered liberally across the deep-pile hearth rugs... the sweet scent of sandalwood serenades the senses as the warm spring breeze whispers through the open windows... the teas and coffees are freshly brewing... and I welcome you into my humble yet peaceful abode.
